A novel by Thomas G. Buchanan, first published as La licorne in France in 1959 (translated by France Vincent McCune), then in the U.S. and Canada in 1960.

It was listed by the New York Times as one of the Best Books of 1960.

The U.S. edition’s cover jacket describes it as, “An allegory, a tale of love and virtue, set in the biblical city of Sodom.”
